We use portable EEG device to detect students’ brain activity, showing concentration, meditation and confusion level as feedback for students and professors. We improve the quality of online course with different functionalities focusing on three time periods: before the semester starts, during the semester and after the semester.

What is EEG and portable EEG device

Electroencephalography (EEG) is the recording of electrical activity along the scalp. In clinical contexts, EEG refers to the recording of the brain's spontaneous electrical activity over a short period of time, usually 20–40 minutes, as recorded from multiple electrodes placed on the scalp.

Portable EEG device are small, affordable and wireless devices that measures EEG outside brain. It usually costs about 100 dollars. Most of these devices look like headphones and even more portable than them. There are several manufactors like NeuroSky.
